I love words—spoken and written alike. I admire those who can be succinct, I adore a witty repartee—and all of my heroes are quite blunt; but I have come to prefer the people who bubble with enthusiasm and gush, because the words can't keep step with their minds. Maybe I like it so much because you cannot gush and be cynical or ironic at the same time. I also have a soft spot for curmudgeons.
